Complaint Procedures

Complaints

At MBK Solicitors we aim to offer to all our clients an efficient and effective service. However, should there be an aspect of our service with which you are unhappy, please advise us if you feel you are not receiving the service you have hoped for. We will thoroughly try to resolve any concerns you may have and endeavour to look into it without delay. In the first instance, in line with our internal complaints procedure, you need to contact the fee earner dealing with your matter.

If the complaint is not resolved by the fee earner, then please discuss your complaint with the Firms Compliance Officer, Ms Karina Farid, who can be contacted on kf@mbksolicitors.co.uk. The Compliance Officer will investigate your complaint and contact you to discuss the issue. It will help if you put your complaint in writing also keeping a copy for yourself, explaining what action you would like the firm to take. The Compliance Officer will then confirm in writing as to what corrective actions or measures will be taken at no extra cost to you.

If you are still not satisfied, you can refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.  The Legal Ombudsman is an independent complaints body and they investigate the complaints about the legal services you have received from us.

The Legal Ombudsman will ask you whether you have tried to address the complaint with us first before accepting to investigate your complaint. If you have raised your complaint with us and you remain dissatisfied, then you must take your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman:
